
BGSU Tennis Defeats Western Michigan On Senior Day To Conclude Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University tennis program pulled away with a 5-2 victory against Western Michigan following their Senior Day festivities. After honoring three seniors on the roster, the Falcons took to the court, capturing their third MAC win of the season. After quickly dominating doubles play, BGSU claimed four of the six singles matches to secure the 5-2 advantage. The win moves the Falcons' record to 10-10 on the season, with a 3-4 MAC standing.

Statistical Standouts
- With their 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles, Radeva and Sasaki snagged their third consecutive win together. They had also been named MAC Doubles Team of the Week the previous two weeks.
- Both Sasaki and Pardo were able to capture extended wins with the final set of each match going beyond six points for the winner.
- For the second consecutive match, Comella defeated her opponent in straight sets. Capturing her 73rd singles win, Comella moved up to tie Heidi Romer for No. 13 all-time for career singles wins.
- For combined wins, Comella now has 151 after adding two more against Western Michigan, giving her sole possession of No. 6 all-time.
- Tavpash also moved up the combined wins list with two in the match. With 104 career wins, she is now tied for No. 28 all-time.
