Men’s Golf Announces 2019-20 Schedule

2019-20 BGSU Men's Golf Schedule
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team and head coach John Powers have announced the program's 2019-20 schedule. The 2019-20 schedule features 11 tournaments, including the 2020 MAC Championships, which are being hosted by Miami University at the Sycamore Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Bowling Green begins its spring campaign with a familiar event in the Earl Yestingsmeier Match Play (Feb. 10-11) in Dade City, Florida. The Falcons will then travel to Texas and South Carolina to play in the Border Olympics (Feb. 24-25) event and the Colleton River Collegiate (March 2-3). BGSU competed at these three events during the 2018-19 season, as well.
Prior to the MAC Championships in Fort Wayne over May 1-3, BGSU will conclude its spring season with events in Arizona (GCU Invitational), Missouri (Missouri Tiger Invitational) and Pennsylvania (Rutherford Intercollegiate).

"The tournament schedule this year gives our team a fantastic opportunity to play in many different locations, on great courses, and against some of the best competition in the country," said Coach Powers. "We have a great team representing BGSU on the road and will continue to build on the success of our program. These tournaments certainly prepare us to contend at the MAC Championship in May."
The Falcons will compete in four events during the fall schedule, beginning with the Raising Canes Invitational over Sept. 14-15 in Richmond, Kentucky. Over the remainder of the fall, BGSU will also take part in the Firestone Invitational (Sept. 30-Oct. 1), Tom Tontimonia Invitational and the Dayton Flyer Invitational.
