Men’s Basketball To Host Orange And Brown Scrimmage Oct. 6

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team is hosting an Orange and Brown scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. The scrimmage, which will be free to attend and open to the public, will be played on Bill Frack Court inside the Stroh Center. All parking for the scrimmage will be free.

"We are excited to host our second-annual Orange and Brown scrimmage," said head coach Michael Huger. "This will be the first opportunity for our fans to see this season's team, and also the first opportunity for our players to play in front of fans. As we prepare for the season, it is important to get into a game rhythm. The Orange and Brown scrimmage will give us the opportunity to start that process. It should be a fun day inside the Stroh Center."
The 2019-20 men's basketball Falcons return four starters and 10 letterwinners from a team that went 22-12 (12-6 MAC) and reached the MAC Championship Game for just the fourth time in school history.
Orange And Brown Promotions / Schedule
• The team will be split into two squads and play a scrimmage.
• During halftime, the team will conduct a three-point competition, as well as a dunk contest.
• The BGSU Screech Team will be running music and handing out giveaway items.
• There will be an opportunity for selected groups / fans to sit court side.
• Guest coaches will be selected to be on the sidelines during the scrimmage.
• There will be a chance to meet with the team following the scrimmage.
