Spring Has Sprung: Football Team Begins Spring Ball Saturday

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University football team will officially return to practice Saturday for the NCAA-allowable 15 spring practices. Coming off of a 3-9 campaign in head coach Scot Loeffler's first season at the helm, the Falcons will continue the work of returning the program to the top of the Mid-American Conference as it was when it went to three straight MAC Championship games from 2013-15, winning two titles and playing in five straight bowl games from 2011-15.

Season tickets for the 2020 season went on sale Wednesday and prices have remained the same as 2019, making BGSU Football one of the most cost-efficient options in FBS college football. 2020 SCHEDULE SET TO CHALLENGE FALCONS
Bowling Green's 2020 schedule has been announced and the Falcons will face a challenging non-conference slate to go with an eight-game conference schedule. BGSU opens the season Sept. 5 at Ohio State before hosting Robert Morris a week later for the home opener. Bowling Green opens conference play Sept. 26 by hosting Buffalo and the Falcons conclude the season at home on Nov. 27 against Northern Illinois. NEW FACES ON STAFF
Bowling Green head coach Scot Loeffler hired two new assistant coaches during the offseason. Greg Nosal has been named the team's running backs coach (CLICK HERE for announcement) and Eric Lewis has been named the cornerbacks coach (CLICK HERE for announcement).
SPRING GAME SET FOR APRIL 18
BGSU Football will hold its annual spring game on April 18 at noon at Doyt L. Perry Stadium. Fans are invited to attend this free event to get an early peek at the 2020 Falcons.
SPRING ROSTER RELEASED
BGSU has released its 2020 spring roster, featuring 81 players. The roster is made up of 18 seniors, 16 juniors, 14 sophomores and 33 freshmen. Included among the freshmen are eight early enrollees.
