BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University men's basketball team, along with head coach Michael Huger, have announced the signing of Jacob Washington (Los Angeles, Calif. / George Washington Prep / Los Angeles Harbor College / Cerritos College) to a National Letter of Intent. The program announced his signing on Monday, Aug. 31.
Washington is a 6-foot-8 forward/center that is immediately eligible for the 2020-21 season. Washington, a native of Los Angeles, has two years of eligibility remaining for BGSU. Over the last two seasons, he played at Cerritos College (2019-20) and Los Angeles Harbor College (2018-19). Both institutions compete in the California Community College Athletic Association.
"I am excited to announce the addition of Jacob Washington," said head coach Michael Huger. "Jacob is a versatile post player that has the ability to play multiple positions. He comes to Bowling Green after having consistent success at the junior college level. He was able to score on the block and shoot from the perimeter. Jacob will also give our roster a valuable rebounder and rim protector. Off the court, Falcon fans will love his personality and character."
