March 30, 2021 | Volleyball
Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Department of Athletics is set to host the MAC Volleyball Tournament April 2-3, 2021 at the Stroh Center. The regular season champion Falcons (#1) will host Western Michigan (#2), Ohio (#3), and Miami (#4) in this two-day tournament. Although the facility will be operating with increased maximum attendance due to modified guidelines for indoor sporting events in the state of Ohio, there will be NO GENERAL PUBLIC TICKET SALES.

While Governor DeWine is allowing up to 25 percent of fixed seating capacity at indoor venues, physical distancing requirements will still limit Stroh Center capacity to 434 attendees for the tournament. Competing teams will receive the majority of those tickets, with remaining tickets reserved for competing schools' students and a limited number of University guests.
Student ticketing will be handled on a first-come-first-served basis with any attending students required to provide their university ID in order to gain entry. Students interested in attending will need to queue up in front of the north ticket lobby and will be permitted entry no earlier than 60 minutes prior to the day's first match (4:30 Friday; 5 Saturday). Friday's semifinal round will be handled as one session with tickets good for both matches. Ticket availability for all MAC students will be no fewer than 50 tickets for Friday's semifinal round and 100 for Saturday's championship match.
All prior guidelines for indoor sporting events will remain in place including physical distancing and required masking. Face coverings are required upon entry and throughout the facility for all individuals age 3+. Sanitation stations will be available throughout the facility, and all guests are asked to not attend if they are experiencing common symptoms of COVID-19 or may have been exposed to someone who has.
Bowling Green State University will host the entirety of the MAC Tournament, beginning on Friday (April 2) with a match between the Falcons and the Miami RedHawks at 4:30 p.m. The second semifinal match will set for an approximate start of 7 p.m. while the championship will be on Saturday (April 3) at 5 p.m. All three matches will be streamed on ESPN+ and links to follow the action can be found at BGSUFalcons.com
