Falcons Finish Up Play At Rutherford Intercollegiate & Now Turn Focus To MAC Championships

Final Results
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Bowling Green State University men's golf team wrapped up play at the three-round Rutherford Intercollegiate on Sunday (April 18). The 14-team event was hosted by Pennsylvania State University. The Falcons carded a team score of 895 to finish tied for 10th, while the hosts Nittany Lions took home the title.
The Falcons have competed in three events this spring hosted by Power Five institutions. Bowling Green's 895 is tied for a season low at those events.
Dylan Fitchet had a dynamite second round, firing three birdies to play the course at one-under. Fitchet's round-two 70 was Bowling Green's low round for the weekend. BGSU's next best two rounds were posted by Nick Hofland, who led the Falcons with a T-25 finish. Hofland competed at a high level yet again, registering rounds of 73-72-74.
Brandon Rattray was participating in his second collegiate event. His solid performance was highlighted by rounds of 74 to open and close the tournament. Ian Mackenzie-Olson carded multiple birdies in all three rounds, including a personal weekend best of three birdies on Sunday. Tom North's round-one 74 was tied with Rattray for BGSU's second-lowest round one total.
