Nine BGSU Gymnasts Named Academic All-MAC

Cleveland, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference named nine members of the Bowling Green State University Gymnastics Team as Academic All-MAC today.
Seniors Elena Lawson and Samantha Marion were both recognized, as well as juniors Paige Bachner, Kayla Chan, and Katelyn Goldstrom. Sophomores Lily Harsch, Taylor Jensen, Tess Muir and Olivia Williams were named to the list as well. Harsch and Jensen both carry 4.0 grade point averages.
Academic All-MAC is awarded to a student-athlete who has excelled in both athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First year freshmen and first year junior college transfers are not eligible.
