Coach Tomic's Take
"We are very proud of the fight and effort that our team showed against, in my opinion, a Final Four caliber team. There were many positives that we saw tonight, such as our aggressive serving, blocking, and offense when we were able to get ourselves in system. However, against a team that runs maybe the fastest offense in the country and that puts pressure on you in every aspect of the game, it simply wasn't enough.
Â
We have learned a lot about ourselves this weekend, which will make us a better and tougher team as we begin the MAC season soon.
Â
We look forward to finally playing at home next Sunday after three grueling weekends on the road. I hope our Falcon fans show up in big numbers for the homecoming weekend and support our BGVB Warriors."
Â
Up Next
The Falcons return home for their final non-conference game, a 2 p.m. match against Oakland on Sunday, Sept. 19. This match will be part of BGSU's homecoming weekend. The Orange and Brown open MAC play the following weekend, traveling to Akron to play at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24.
