Coach Tomic's Take
"Our team is excited to open MAC play tomorrow at Akron. We believe that our tough non-conference schedule prepared us well for the rest of the season. Each opponent we played so far gave us an opportunity to learn more about ourselves and sharpen our tactical and technical skills. It also humbled and reminded us that what happened last season has no correlation with what will happen this season. This is a new team, a new season, and it is up to each of us to show up every day, giving our best to help the team be the best. We have a group of women who love to play for each other, who work hard every day to get better, and when we compete in the BGVB style, we are hard to beat."
