Falcons Finish Fourth at Miami Invite

OXFORD, Ohio – The Falcons finished up competition today in the Miami Invite. As a team they placed fourth behind MAC rivals Miami and Ball State.
Taylor Harris concluded the Miami Invite with another spectacular performance. Earlier in the week Harris swam to a personal best in the 200 IM and a fourth-place finish in the 100 Breaststroke, adding a top ten time in school history in the event. Harris continued this strong effort tonight with another fourth-place finish in the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:18.55.
The Orange and Brown then had two Falcons snag points in the 200 Butterfly courtesy of Fabiana D'Ambrogio and Ava Vial. D'Ambrogio swam to a time of 2:05.53 and a seventh-place finish with fellow Falcon Vial swimming to a twelfth-place finish with a time of 2:08.20.
Teammate Gabby Vitela got a point in the first event of the day with a time of 17:59.56. Elayna Krupp also added points to the final Falcon total in the 100 Freestyle with a time of 52.25.

Up Next
With the end of the Miami Invite today the Falcons concluded competition in the fall portion of their season. The Orange and Brown divers will return to competition on January 13th for the Buffalo Diving Invite. Meanwhile, the swimmers return home to the Cooper Pool on January 14th to face the Zips of Akron.
