Second Day of NIC Meet Sees Five Falcons Compete

FRIDAY PRELIM RESULTS
FRIDAY FINAL RESULTS
OCALA, Fla. – Five BGSU swimmers wrapped up the second day of competition at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship.
Emily McNicol placed 29th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.56, while Ava Vial took 32nd in the 400 IM (4:27.44) during the morning prelims.
In the Falcons' lone evening event, the 200 medley relay squad of McNicol, Grace Perlberg, Riley McNichols and Samia Becdach swam a time of 1:42.92, good enough for 24th.
The team ended the day in 30th place with 62 points scored.
Up Next
Bowling Green will put a bow on their 2024-25 campaign during the final day of competition at the NIC. McNicol will participate in the 200 backstroke and Perlberg in the 200 breaststroke, while a trio of Grace Bodrock, Karina Solera and Vial will represent the Falcons in the 200 butterfly.
Prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m. with finals at 6 p.m.
