There's Still Time to Submit Your Hall Of Fame Nominations

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The deadline to submit nominations for the next class of the Bowling Green State University Athletics Hall of Fame is fast approaching. Nominations for the Class of 2023 will be accepted through the end of the calendar year (Dec. 31, 2022).

Nominations submitted prior to the end of the 2022 calendar year will be considered by the Hall of Fame committee when it meets in early 2023. The Class of 2023 will be announced in the spring of 2023 and inducted into the Hall in the fall of '23.
Nominations submitted after the end of the 2022 calendar year will be kept on file for consideration in the following year's class.
NOTE: If you have submitted a nomination within the last year, there is no need to resubmit that nomination.
BGSU's Athletics Hall of Fame exists to recognize Bowling Green State University's former student-athletes, teams, coaches, administrators, and special inductees who have distinguished both themselves and the University through their achievements, commitment to excellence, and their dedication to advancing the rich history, tradition and legacy of Falcon Athletics.

Teams and individuals are eligible for consideration for the Hall of Fame by being nominated. In order to be eligible for the Hall of Fame, student-athletes must be ten years removed from their last date of competition at BGSU and must have earned at least one varsity letter. Teams must also be ten years removed from the last date of competition and must have attained success in honoring and elevating the reputation of legacy of BGSU.

Coaches and administrators are eligible for nomination into the Hall of Fame but must be five years removed from service at BGSU. They must have served a minimum of five years and the individual's entire athletics contribution to the University will be considered. Special inductees who made consistent and significant contributions to BGSU Athletics will also be considered. Attending BGSU as a student is not a requirement but special consideration will be given to individuals who have brought recognition to his/her alma mater through significant personal and/or professional achievements.

BGSU has inducted 248 individuals and three teams (the 1983-84 hockey national champions, the 1959 football national champions and the 1972 national runner-up men's indoor track and field team) into the Hall of Fame. The 2022 class, which was inducted in October, included Jon Berti, Dr. Jean Campbell, Lauren Prochaska, Kerm Stroh and the '72 men's indoor track & field team.
