Lambert Named NACMA Stipend Recipient

Bowling Green State University is proud to announce that Assistant Director of Marketing Sydney Lambert was named a recipient of The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) 2022 Mike Cleary Convention Stipend Program. These individuals will attend the 2022 NACMA Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada,from June 26-29.
"I am so grateful to have been chosen for the Mike Cleary Stipend," said Lambert. "Starting with hiring me at a university that gave me so much as a player, to now. Taylor's guidance since I've been working under him as a professional; I would like to thank Taylor (Jefferson) and BG Athletics for allowing this to be possible. I am looking forward to the opportunity to learn and network at the NACMA convention. I believe it will help increase my knowledge of marketing and give me direction on how to grow in my career."
Taylor Jefferson, Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Brand Enhancement said, "I could not be happier for Sydney on receiving the stipend for the NACMA Convention. The convention is a great place to grow as a professional and a leader. Sydney will certainly enjoy what the convention has to offer."
Lambert is in her first year as the Assistant Director of Marketing at BGSU. She is the primary contact for men's and women's soccer, hockey and softball, and also oversees the Future Falcon Kids Club. As a student, Lambert was a four-year letterwinner for the BGSU women's basketball team. Lambert started in 118 games in the Orange and Brown. She finished her career ranked 20th in career scoring with 1,218 points. She also finished second in three-point field goals made with 241.

About NACMA Mike Cleary Convention Stipend Program:Â In 2012, the NACMA stipend program was named after National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) Director Emeritus Mike Cleary for his commitment to the development of young professionals. Cleary served as NACDA's lone Executive Director for its first 46 years, prior to his retirement in June 2011. Cleary served as President of the John McLendon Minority Scholarship Foundation and the Michael J. Cleary Northeastern Ohio Chapter of the National Football Foundation (NFF) until his death in December 2015.
