Falcons Conclude 2021-22 Campaign Against Toledo

PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons dropped the 2021-22 season finale to the Toledo Rockets, 7-0. UT won two doubles matches to earn the day's first point, then swept singles play. At No. 2 doubles, the match was unfinished with a 5-5 tie between Annika Vetter/Ioanna Tsadari and Patricia Panta/Shalini Tallamraju.

Tsadari pushed Sloane Teske to three sets at No. 2 singles, falling 1-6, 6-2, 6-2. In a thrilling No. 1 singles match, Cassie Alcala outlasted Selina Karg for a 6-3, 7-6 (3) victory. Before the match, the Falcons recognized senior Laura Maia Silveira, who concludes her career with 30 total wins, including 10 this season. BGSU finishes the 2021-22 campaign with a 4-17Â overall record and 1-9 mark in the MAC.
