BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Senior linebacker Darren Anders and junior linebacker Brock Horne join Bowling Green football's official podcast as BGSU this week.

"Fly with Us" is available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify (search Fly With Us). BGSU's assistant athletics director for strategic communications Vincent Briedis conducts in-depth interviews as fans can get to know various members of the 2022 Falcons.

Anders is coming off a 2021 season where he earned first-team All-America honors after leading the MAC in tackles, which also ranked No. 8 in the nation. Anders is a first-team preseason All-American by Pro Football Network and has also been named to the Butkus Award, Bednarik Award, Lombardi Award and Nagurski Trophy watch lists. Horne is a two-time Academic All-MAC honoree and was one of four FBS players that made their college debut in 2020 that recorded 90+ tackles in 2021.

"I look at is as a motivational thing," said Anders about all the preseason accolades. "It is just preseason stuff. It is not that I don't care about it, It is cool, but I am just staying focused on playing this season and earning those type of awards on the field. I am focused on our team and how our defense will win games."
