Bowling Green Adds Alabama A&M Transfer for the 2023 Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green football program has added Alabama A&M transfer Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim, according to head football coach Scot Loeffler. Ibrahim, a wide receiver, spent four seasons at Alabama A&M. He will have one year of eligibility with the Falcons.
Ibrahim (Miramar, Fla.) appeared in 31 career games for the Bulldogs. He comes to BGSU with 163 career receptions for 2,488 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns during his career. Ibrahim recorded two different 1,000-yard receiving yards (2019, 2021), earning FCS All-America honors. The three-time first-team All-SWAC wide receiver was a finalist for the Jerry Rice Award as a true freshman, which is given to the nation's top freshman in FCS.
Ibrahim was teammates at Alabama A&M with current Falcon Odieu Hiliare. The duo amassed 1,926 combined receiving yards and 17 touchdowns in 2021. Ibrahim walked-on at Alabama A&M after a tryout.
Ibrahim is a 2019 graduate of Miramar High School in Florida. In addition top playing football, he also ran track. Ibrahim is currently enrolled at BGSU.
