Schneider Scores 100th Point as Falcons Stretch Win Streak to Six

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (14-12-0, 11-7-0 CCHA) completed a series sweep of conference foe Bemidji State (9-8-5, 7-4-3 CCHA), marking the sixth consecutive victory for the Orange and Brown. All six wins have come on home ice. Taylor Schneider recorded his 100th career point with a power play goal, while Austen Swankler notched a point for the 16th straight game. The Falcons remain in first place in the CCHA with 35 points.

Scoring Plays
- Chase Gresock started the scoring in the early minutes of the second period, with Austen Swankler tallying the lone assist.
- Past the halfway point of the second, Taylor Schneider recorded his 100th career point with a power play goal, assisted by Nathan Burke and Alex Barber.
- Mitchell Martan answered with a power play goal of his own to bring Bemidji State within one, with assists going to Lleyton Roed and Elias Rosen.
- Early in the third, Jackson Jutting took advantage of a BGSU turnover and scored a game-tying unassisted goal.
- Just a couple minutes later, Max Coyle lit the lamp with a long-range shot from the right side of the zone, with Schneider and Barber tallying assists.
- The Falcons closed the game with a pair of empty net scores. First, Ethan Scardina fired home a goal, assisted by Evan Dougherty. Then, Anton Malmstrom sent the puck from the defensive zone to the back of the net, with Ryan O'Hara tallying an assist.

- Taylor Schneider became the 76th player in program history to score 100 points. He joins Alex Barber, who has 103 career points, as two of 12 active players with over 100 points.
- Chase Gresock's goal gives him 94 career points, including 21 this season.
- Austen Swankler scored in the 16th consecutive game, giving him a point total of 36 that ranks second nationally.
- Ryan O'Hara scored in the eighth straight game, putting him at 25 points this season.
- Max Coyle scored his first career-game winning goal.
- Christian Stoever notched his 10th win of the season with a 31-save performance.
