Keith Named MAC East Offensive Player of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green running back Ta'ron Keith has been named MAC East Player of the Week for games played through Nov. 9, announced the Mid-American Conference (MAC).
It is Keith's second career weekly award from the MAC. He previously was named MAC East Special Teams Player of the Week after BGSU's MACtion win over Western Michigan in 2022.
Keith (DeLand, Fla.) achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first player in BGSU program history to record over 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in a single game. Keith's performance contributed significantly to the Falcons' 49-19 win over Kent State, which gave BGSU bowl eligibility for the second consecutive year. Keith was efficient with an impressive average of 11.4 yards per carry. He also set personal records with 130 receiving yards and eight receptions, while his total of 233 all-purpose yards marked a career high. Keith also recorded one rushing TD and one receiving TD in the win.
BGSU is back in action on Nov. 14 when Toledo comes to Doyt Perry Stadium for mid-week MACtion. Kick for the Battle of I-75 will be at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2.
