Bowling Green Ties Program Record with 15 Falcons on the 2023 MAC All-Academic Team

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference (MAC) announced that 15 members of the Bowling Green football team have been named to the 2023 Academic All-MAC team. The 15 Falcons tie the program record set last year, which broke the previous record set in 2021. In Scot Loeffler's five-year tenure, BGSU has five of its top six outputs in program history for representation on the Academic All-MAC team.
Darren Anders (4), Dontrez Brown (3), Levi Gazarek (3), Brock Horne (4), Austin Osborne (2), PaSean Wimberly (2) and Alex Wollschlaeger (2) have earned the honor multiple times in their career. Alan Anaya, Connor Bazelak, Davion Daniels, Dom Grguric, Abdul-Fatai Ibrahim, Griffin Little, Camden Orth, Nate Pabst and Cade Zimmerly all earned the honor for the first time.
To qualify for Academic All-MAC, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and participate in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. True freshmen are not eligible for the award. Transfers need to have one year of residency to be eligible.
