BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program will host this season's second edition of the Battle of I-75 on Saturday (Feb. 18) inside the Stroh Center. The Falcons and Rockets are scheduled for a 5 p.m. tip that will mark the Bill Frack Game for BGSU. The Orange and Brown will also have an Orange Out for the game and the Mascot Reveal after the game. The rivalry game will be available to watch on ESPN3. Saturday will mark the 180th meeting all-time, and the second this season, between Bowling Green and Toledo. The Rockets lead the all-time series with a record of 96-83, but the Falcons hold the advantage when hosting, holding a record of 50-30 when the series is played in Bowling Green. In the first meeting, the Falcons were led by Leon Ayers III with 21 points. Chandler Turner added a double-double for BGSU with 12 points and 10 rebounds while both Rashaun Agee and Samari Curtis tallied 14 points each.

The game for the Falcons will be an Orange Out, the Bill Frack Game and will have the Mascot Reveal after the game on the court.

A Bowling Green Win Would…

Snap a six-game losing streak for the Falcons.
Split the season series against the Toledo Rockets.
Push the Falcons back to .500 (7-7) at home this season.
Mark BGSU's first win over Toledo since Feb. 13, 2021 (88-81) and first at home since Feb. 8, 2020 (85-83).

Scouting The Rockets
Toledo is in the midst of a 10-game winning streak, averaging 84.3 points per game over the stretch. On the season, the Rockets are averaging 84.5 points per game, the third-highest mark in the nation. During MAC play, UT has produced the most efficient offense, shooting 48.6% from the field. Toledo is led by RayJ Dennis, averaging 18.5 points per game during the conference portion of the schedule.

Matchup From Behind The Arc
Bowling Green and Toledo have been the top two teams in the MAC during conference play from three-point range. The Falcons sit at first in the MAC for three-point percentage, shooting 39.7% (98-of-247) over 13 conference contests. As for Toledo, they come in second with a mark of 38.4% (114-of-297) from deep over their 13 MAC games.

Double-Digit Points In Conference Play
During BGSU's 13 MAC games this season, three players are averaging double-digit points with two more on the brink. Leon Ayers III leads the way with 18.5 points per game against MAC opponents. Samari Curtis (11.8) and Kaden Metheny (11.7) are both north of the 10-point mark as well. Rashaun Agee and Chandler Turner are both close as well and have been efficient for the Falcons. In MAC play, Agee is averaging 9.9 points per game and is shooting 57.8% from the field. Similarly, Turner is averaging 9.8 points with a clip of 51.0% from the field.

Turner Turning It On
Over the last six games, Chandler Turner is averaging 11.3 points, scoring double-digits in four of the six contests, including a season-high 21 against Northern Illinois. Turner began the stretch with a double-double (12 points, 10 rebounds) in the first meeting against Toledo and is averaging a team-high 6.3 rebounds over the span. The surge on the boards has raised Turner's average during MAC play to 6.5 rebounds per game, which ranks ninth in the conference and leads the Falcons.

Agee In Action
Rashaun Agee has recorded a team-high 31 blocks this season, tying for second in the MAC with Toledo's JT Shumate and Akron's Enrique Freeman. Ball State's Demarius Jacobs leads the MAC with 35. Agee has had two over the last three games and now sits four away from setting a new career-high for a single season, previously having 34 last year at Casper College.
