Bowling Green Participates in Miami (OH) Tri-Match as Gdovin Places Second

OXFORD, Ohio – The Bowling Green men's golf team continued its spring season at a tri-match with Miami (OH) and Northern Kentucky. The one-day, 36-hole event was held at the Hueston Woods Golf Course, a par-72, 7,044-yard course in Oxford, Ohio. The Falcons placed third out of four teams. Miami (OH) had two teams in the match.
Connor Gdovin finished second after shooting -6. Darin Hudak finished No. 6 on the day after shooting -2. Tom Bell (+3) finished tied for No. 12 and Brandon Rattray (+9) finished tied for No. 19. Ethan Irvine (+10) rounded out the BGSU lineup tied for No. 21. Playing as individuals, Dylan Fitchet (+9) tied for No. 19, Brady Pevarnik (+11) finished No. 23 and Roni Shin (+16) finished No. 27.
Gdovin was No. 2 in the tri-match with 9 birdies, while Hudak was No. 5 with seven birdies. Rattray was No. 4 with 26 pars. Gdovin was second in the match on par-4 shooting at -3, while also shooting -3 on par-5 scoring.
