Eloise Saraty Earns Second Team All-MAC Honors
April 28, 2023 | Women's Tennis
Senior led Falcons in singles and doubles wins, totaled 22 spring victories
CLEVELAND – The Mid-American Conference has announced its 2023 Women's Tennis All-MAC Teams, with Bowling Green's Eloise Saraty earning second team All-MAC honors. The senior totaled 22 wins during the spring season, including seven during MAC competition. She was named MAC Singles Player of the Week once and shared MAC Doubles Team of the Week recognition with Ioanna Tsadari twice.
Saraty concluded the 2022-23 campaign with an overall record of 28-22, winning 14 singles matches and 14 doubles matches. In the spring, she compiled a 22-17 record, winning 10 times in singles and 12 times in doubles. When playing No. 2 singles, she was 10-3, including wins in seven of her first eight matches, with the exception being an injury default. She and Tsadari were 4-2 in MAC doubles matches, all at No. 1. Following their 6-2 win against Youngstown State, the duo earned MAC Doubles Team of the Week. They received the honor again after defeating No. 1 duos from Miami (OH) and Toledo, who both qualified for the MAC Tournament.
Saraty also earned MAC Singles Player of the Week for her performance against Northern Kentucky, a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 2 that helped the Falcons earn a 4-3 victory. This is the seventh time in the last eight seasons the Falcons have had a player earn All-MAC recognition, with the exception being 2020, when the season was cut short due to Covid-19. Bowling Green has now had a player earn All-MAC second-team honors each of the last three seasons, with Saraty joining Marharita-Sophia Tavpash (2021) and Selina Karg (2022). Additionally, she joins Ioanna Tsadari (first team, 2022) as the only Falcons from the 2022-23 campaign to earn conference honors.

"Eloise has been given the opportunity to shine here at Bowling Green and she has made good on it. She's one of the better players in the conference, and we will be expecting big things from her again next year. It's a great individual honor and I am excited for her."
