Hudak and Rattray Earn GCAA All-America Scholar Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green men's golfers Darin Hudak and Brandon Rattray were named 2022-23 GCAA All-America Scholars, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
Hudak (Tallmadge, Ohio) notched a 74.44 per round average with a low of 69 in the Ernie Denham Classic. The Academic All-ACC honoree played in 11 events and totaled 32 rounds.
Rattray (Saint-Bruno, Quebec) played in 12 events totaling 35 rounds during the 2022-23 season. He earned Academic All-MAC honors after averaging a 75.11 per round. Rattray had a season-low 69 in the first round of the Ross Collegiate, where he finished seventh.
To be eligible for GCAA All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, under 78.0 in NCAA Division II, under 79.0 in NCAA Division III, under 78.0 in NAIA, and under 77.0 in NJCAA, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at their college or university.
