BGSU, Toledo Competing To Collect The Most Aluminum Pull Tabs For Ronald McDonald House Charities
September 12, 2023 | General
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University and University of Toledo athletic departments will be competing this season both on and off the field in the Battle of I-75. BGSU and UT this year will be competing to see which fanbase can collect the most aluminum pull tabs throughout the year for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio. RMHC uses the aluminum pull tabs to offset the cost of the food pantry for families staying at RMHC.Â
Fans can collect and save tabs throughout the season and bring them to any BGSU home events. Drop off locations will be available at all three main venues this year, being Doyt Perry Stadium, Slater Family Ice Arena and Stroh Center. Fans are encouraged to look for collection containers at each venue through the 2023-24 season for BGSU athletics.
Fans can locate more information on ways to help RMHC HERE as well as information on how aluminum pull tabs can be used and how the proceeds are utilized.Â
