Martin, Chmiel Headline This Week's Coaches Show With Todd Walker

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly "Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Jan. 22) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. Bowling Green assistant men's basketball coach Bryce Martin will join the "Voice of the Falcons" Todd Walker on the show first at 6 p.m. For the second half, head women's basketball coach Fred Chmiel will be on the show, starting at 6:30 p.m. Fans can watch the show live at the Bowling Green Fricker's.

The men's basketball team has won 12 of their last 13 contests, improving to 14-4 on the season and 5-1 within the Mid-American Conference, tying them for second in the MAC. The Falcons have also tallied seven straight wins at home. The Orange and Brown are scheduled to host the Kent State Golden Flashes for their next game, playing KSU Tuesday night (Jan. 23) at the Stroh Center for a 7 p.m tip. BGSU will then head up I-75 to take on the rival Rockets Saturday (Jan. 27) at 2 p.m.
The women's basketball team enters the week with a 10-6 overall record and 4-2 MAC standing, good for fourth in the conference. The Falcons will remain on the road for their next game, heading to Buffalo on Wednesday (Jan. 24) for an 11 a.m. tip against the Bulls. BGSU will then return home to the Stroh Center this Saturday (Jan. 27) for a 4 p.m. tip against Kent State, marking the team's Alumnae Day for the 2023-24 campaign.
