BG Hockey Stays Undefeated Against Simon Fraser in 4-1 Exhibition Win

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (2-0-0, 0-0-0 CCHA) remain perfect in all-time program history against Simon Fraser (3-7-0, 1-1-0 BCIHL) with a 4-1 victory. With tonight's win, the Falcons extend their undefeated record against the Red Leafs to 2-0.
The Falcons used a 4-0 run in the first period to pull away from the Red Leafs and never looked back.

- The Falcons struck first over four minutes into the game with a power play goal by Sophomore Brody Waters. The Falcons found themselves in an unsettled 2 on 1 forecheck. Junior Brett Pfoh found Waters on the right hand side and passed the puck to him for a wide open net goal.
- Just over four minutes later, senior Brayden Krieger received the pass from sophomore Gustav Sternberg at the top of the right-side circle. Krieger fired a low shot past the screened Simon Fraser goalie to extend the lead to 2-0.
- A little over two minutes later, freshman Adam Zlnka joined the party after Martin decked through a defender and passed the puck to his fellow classmate in the slot to further extend the lead to, 3-0
- The Falcons would add another from another freshman Maxwell Martin at 13:13 in the first period on a shorthanded breakaway that beat the Simon Fraser goaltender
- The Red Leafs would get one back from Zac Maxwell before the end of the first frame to cut into the lead,4-1.
