
Bowling Green Hockey Drops First Conference Game against St. Thomas, 6-3

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, Minn. – The Bowling Green Falcons (5-4-1, CCHA 2-1-2) fell to the St. Thomas Tommies (3-5-3, 2-2-2) in a conference game by a score of 6-3. With tonight's loss, BGSU records their first loss in conference play. In the loss, junior Quinn Emerson tallied his first goal of the season and junior Brett Pfoh recorded his fifth multi-point game and second of the season.
Notables
The Falcons will be back in action on Nov. 29 for a home series against Michigan Tech after a bye week.

- Halfway through the first period, St. Thomas' Cooper Gay was on the break away as the 4 on 4 expired to score a power-play goal to give the Tommies a 1-0 lead.
- 14 minutes into the first period, the Tommies were able to extend their lead to 2-0.
- Less than two minutes later, BGSU was able to cut the St. Thomas lead in half. Senior Ryan O'Hara passed the puck to sophomore Breck McKinley on the right-side boards who found Ben Doran at the blue line. Doran took a shot through traffic in front of the net, that hit the top right-hand corner, to make it 2-1.
- BGSU would find themselves in penalty trouble early to start the second period. The Tommies were able to capitalize with a redirected shot to regain the two-goal lead.
- At 9:58 in the second, Junior Brett Pfoh and graduate Ville Immonen would enter the zone on a 2 on 2. Pfoh entered the zone with the puck on the left-hand side and passed the puck across to Immonen. Immonen, one timed the puck past a diving St. Thomas goalie for his second as a Falcon.
- St. Thomas would score two unanswered goals to close out the second period to make it 5-2 going into the second intermission.
- At the 3:15 into the third, after a defensive stop, junior Quinn Emerson started the breakout with a pass to Pfoh on the left-hand side. Pfoh took the puck behind the net and found Emerson out front. Emerson tapped the puck into the wide-open net to cut into the lead 5-3.
- The Tommies would add another goal late in the third to make it 6-3.
The Falcons will be back in action on Nov. 29 for a home series against Michigan Tech after a bye week.
