FINALS RESULTS
PRELIMS RESULTS
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The BGSU swim & dive team finished in seventh place at the close of Day 1 at Cleveland State's highly-competitive Magnus Cup Invitational at Busbey Natatorium, one of the premier facilities for the sport in the country.
The preliminaries took place in the morning, and the top 40 in each event qualified for the A, B, C and D finals, respectfully, in the evening based on their prelim times. Ten swimmers participated in each event, as the Busbey Natatorium is a 10-lane pool.
The Falcons' 200 freestyle relay of Samia Becdach, Emily McNicol, Riley McNichols and Elayna Krupp finished in eighth with a time of 1:33.67.
Joanna Robertson won the B final in the 50 breaststroke (29.77), while Grace Perlberg took fifth in the B final (15th overall) with a mark of 30.28.
Three BGSU swimmers qualified for the B final in the 200 IM. Taylor Devorace (2:06.00), Ava Vial (2:06.30) and Grace Bodrock (2:07.62) each took fourth, sixth and eighth, respectfully, in the race.
Becdach was the only BG swimmer to qualify for an A final, as she finished in seventh (23.49) in the 50 freestyle. McNicol earned a place in the B final of the event and notched 10th place (27.93).
The 400 medley relay squad consisting of McNicol, Robertson, Karina Solera and Becdach earned ninth (3:47.51), while Elise Snyder (248.50) placed seventh in the three-meter dive.

Day 2 of the Magnus Cup Invitational will start with prelims at 9 a.m. followed by diving at 1 p.m. and finals at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 22.
