Marcus Hill Earns Third MAC Player Of The Week Recognition

Hill Averaged 24.5 Points Over The Last Week Of Games
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the men's basketball MAC Co-Players of the Week Monday afternoon (Feb. 12). This week's recipients were Bowling Green's Marcus Hill, a junior guard from Rockford, Ill. and Ohio's Jaylin Hunter. This marks the third time this season that Hill has received the recognition and the fourth time for a Falcon. Rashaun Agee was named a Co-Player of the Week once earlier this season.
Hill continued his 20-point streak over the last two games, bringing it to a nation-leading nine-straight. Hill began the week with 27 points against Buffalo adding six rebounds and four assists to his stat line in the win as well. Hill followed it up with 22 against Louisiana while adding another six rebounds for the Orange and Brown. For the week, he averaged 24.5 points, 6.0 boards, and 3.0 assists per contest, shooting 21-of-33 (.636) from the field and 7-of-10 (.700) from the free throw line.

The Falcons will return to MAC play with two road contests up next. Bowling Green will first head to Eastern Michigan on Feb. 17 for a 3:30 p.m. start before going to Central Michigan on Feb. 20 for a 7 p.m. tip. BGSU's next home game is set for Friday, Feb. 23 with the Battle of I-75 at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
