Falcons Post Strong Final Round at The Jewell

BATAVIA, Ohio - The Bowling Green men's golf team finished 8th out of 11 teams at Norther Kentucky's The Jewell. The two-day event was held at the Elks Run Golf Course, par-71, 6,845-yard course in Batavia, Ohio.
The Falcons shot a 289 on Sunday's final round, which was tied for the third-best round for the day.
Tournament Notes
• Luke Evans shot a 69 in round three, which was the sixth-best round on Sunday. Five others shot a 68.
• Brady Pevarnik tied for the tournament lead with one eagle.
• Darin Hudak tied for No. 5 in the tournament with seven birdies.
• Dylan Fitchet tied for No. 5 in the tournament with 27 pars.

We just about led the field in front nine scoring which was really good to see. We are excited to host next week on a familiar course and have a very clear picture of the adjustments needed to refine our strategy as we close in on the MAC Championship." - John Powers, head BGSU men's golf coach
