Falcons Post Strong Final Round at The Jewell

BATAVIA, Ohio - The Bowling Green men's golf team finished 8th out of 11 teams at Norther Kentucky's The Jewell. The two-day event was held at the Elks Run Golf Course, par-71, 6,845-yard course in Batavia, Ohio.
The Falcons shot a 289 on Sunday's final round, which was tied for the third-best round for the day.
Tournament Notes
• Luke Evans shot a 69 in round three, which was the sixth-best round on Sunday. Five others shot a 68.
• Brady Pevarnik tied for the tournament lead with one eagle.
• Darin Hudak tied for No. 5 in the tournament with seven birdies.
• Dylan Fitchet tied for No. 5 in the tournament with 27 pars.

"We learned a lot this week about what we are capable of and where the game needs some fine tuning coming down the stretch run. We just about led the field in front nine scoring which was really good to see.
