BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (12-9-3, CCHA 8-6-3) fell to the Augustana Vikings (14-7-2, CCHA 6-3-0) by a score of 1-0 in overtime. With tonight's game going into overtime, the Falcons have now played three straight games that have needed at least overtime.

The Falcons failed to record a goal for the third time this season at home, after failing to record a goal against Ohio State and Michigan Tech

How It Happened

Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the first period with the Falcons taking two penalties and Augustana with one of their own.
After the second period, both teams remained tied with the Falcons leading the Vikings in shots 12-7. The same continued to the third period with both teams going scoreless to overtime and each picking up a point
At 3:23 into the overtime period, the Vikings finally got one past Stoever to win the game, 1-0
