KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- The BGSU Tennis team competed at the MAC Individual Championships this weekend, hosted by Western Michigan at the West Hills Athletic Club. Six Falcons competed over the weekend, including two sets of doubles players and two singles competitors. The event featured both a singles tournament and a doubles tournament, which was single elimination and offered consolation matches.

Tia Clemens showed impressively in the singles tournament, making a run to the semifinals after winning her first two matches. Newcomers Libby Blair and Kiera Taylor also made it to the quarterfinals in the doubles bracket.

The BGSU tennis team will be back in action next weekend as they travel to Pennsylvania for two duals matches. First, the Falcons will take on Slippery Rock on Saturday, Oct. 11 at noon. On Sunday, Oct. 12, the team will then travel to Indiana, Penn. to take on the Indiana University of Pennsylvania at 10 am.
