BGSU Athletics to Host Inaugural Athletics Life Design Networking Social During Homecoming Weekend

Event aims to connect Falcon alumni and student-athletes for mentorship, storytelling, and professional growth
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green State University Athletics is proud to announce the inaugural Athletics Life Design Networking Social, a dynamic and engaging event designed to connect Falcon alumni student-athletes with current BGSU student-athletes in an atmosphere of collaboration, reflection, and community building.
The event will take place on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 4:30–6:00 p.m. at the Schmidthorst Heritage Hall of Fame, located inside the Stroh Center. Held during Homecoming Weekend, the networking social will feature light refreshments and appetizers and promises to be a highlight for alumni and students alike.
"I am inviting our former Falcon student-athletes to join us for this new tradition," said Jaysen Spencer, Associate Athletics Director for Student-Athlete Services. "The Athletics Life Design Networking Social is more than just a gathering, it's an opportunity to share stories, exchange experiences, and strengthen the Falcon family. Whether our alumni are hoping to offer guidance, gain insight, or simply celebrate the Falcon spirit, this event is the perfect space to connect across generations."
The event is rooted in BGSU's Athletics Life Design initiative, which empowers student-athletes to explore purpose, design meaningful careers, and cultivate life-long success. By bringing alumni and student-athletes together, the Athletics Life Design Networking Social aims to enhance holistic development and open new pathways for personal and professional growth.
