The Falcons Nest Coaches Show Going Remote This Week With Simon, Barton

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Jan. 19) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations. Due to travel accommodations as well as inclement weather, this week's show will be fully remote with all sessions pre-recorded. The show will begin at 6 p.m. with head men's basketball coach Todd Simon and the Voice of the Falcons, Todd Walker. The show will continue at 6:30 p.m. as Walker transitions to talking with head swimming and diving coach Tanner Barton.
For fans wanting to listen along, the show can be heard locally on WFRO 99.1 FM, 100.7 FM in Toledo, 1280 WONW in Defiance and 970 WFUN in Ashtabula. There will also be streams through BGSUFalcons.com and "The Varsity Network" app from Learfield Sports.
The men's basketball team is coming off a home win over Eastern Michigan Saturday (Jan. 17). Now 12-6 on the season and 3-3 in the MAC, the Falcons will be on the road for their next two games. BGSU will first head to Western Michigan on Tuesday (Jan. 20) for a 7 p.m. tip against the Broncos. From there, the Falcons will transition to the Battle of I-75 on Saturday (Jan. 24) with a 5 p.m. start against the rival Toledo Rockets at Savage Arena.
The swimming and diving team is hot off their best start in program history, beginning the season 12-0. Now 12-3, the Falcons are preparing for the Butler Invitational on Sunday (Jan. 25) in Fishers, Ind. The Battle of I-75 is right around the corner as well, hosting Toledo on Jan. 30 at Cooper Pool before transitioning to Toledo on Jan. 31, the final tests for both programs before the MAC Championships in Akron, beginning on Feb. 25.
