The MAC office released the Women's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Poll and the Preseason All-MAC Teams – determined via voting by the league's 12 head coaches – on Tuesday (Oct. 20).
Ball State was the choice of the coaches to win the MAC regular-season crown in '26-27. The Cardinals received 111 points and five of the 13 first-place votes. Miami garnered 108 points and four first-place votes, followed by Massachusetts (103 points, one first-place vote), Toledo (98, two), Ohio (75), Eastern Michigan (61), Kent State (59) and the Falcons (50).
