BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The weekly Falcons Nest Coaches Show presented by Fricker's, returns Monday night (Oct. 26) on Falcon Sports Radio Network stations with a trio of guests. The show will begin at 6 p.m. with head football strength and conditioning coach Chris Fenelon joining the Voice of the Falcons, Todd Walker. Walker will then be joined by head women's basketball coach Fred Chmiel at 6:30 p.m. followed by head cross country coach Lou Snelling at 6:45 p.m. All three interviews will be in-person at the Bowling Green Fricker's.
For fans in attendance of the show, there will be free appetizers provided by Fricker's available on the tables when guests arrive. Fans in attendance will also have the opportunity to win Frick Bucks during commercial breaks with interactive segments. Also, note that the next two weeks, Nov. 2 and Nov. 9, there will not be a coaches show due to basketball games at the same time.
This year's show will be hosted in a special room at Fricker's with a maximum capacity of 55. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure an enjoyable and timely experience for all fans, there will not be autograph opportunities — but this creates a more interactive, conversational atmosphere to connect with BGSU coaches and fans.
Fans are encouraged to submit questions by clicking HERE. You can also interact with Todd Walker on Twitter at @FalconsVoice. For fans unable to make the show in person at Fricker's, the show can be heard locally on WFRO 99.1 FM, 100.7 FM in Toledo, 1280 WONW in Defiance and 970 WFUN in Ashtabula. There will also be streams through BGSUFalcons.com and "The Varsity Network" app from Learfield Sports.
The BGSU football team will head to Kalamazoo, Michigan to take on the Western Michigan Broncos. The Falcons are coming off a MAC battle against Buffalo and are looking for their fourth-straight win over the Broncos on Saturday (Oct. 31). The football team will return home on Tuesday (Nov. 10) to host Kent State.
The BGSU women's basketball team will kick off their season at home against Georgia Southern on Monday (Nov. 2) here at the Stroh Center. The Falcons are coming off an exhibition win against Ohio Dominican and look to start their season off strong in the MAC-Sun Belt Challenge.
The BGSU men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Kalamazoo, Michigan, for the MAC Championship. Both teams are coming off first place finishes at the Falcon Invitational on Friday (Oct. 16).
