Amherst, Mass. - The Bowling Green State University Tennis team opened up MAC play this season against the University of Massachusetts Minutemen and was defeated 6-1.

DOUBLES

The Minutemen earned the doubles point in the contest, taking two of three matches.
Ella Faessler and Reaula Farima def. Tia Clemens and Qianyu Liu 6-1.
Libby Blair and Leticia Fonseca def. Amerlia Tye and Amanda De Olivera 4-2.
Maritina Pavissich and Madara Markevica def. Kiera Taylor and Konstantina Adamopoulou 6-2.

SINGLES

Ella Faessler def. Tia Clemens 6-0, 6-3.
Amelia Tye def. Qianyu Liu 6-1, 6-1.
Keira Taylor def. Martina Pavissich 6-3,6-4.
Chang Ao def. Libby Blair 6-3, 7-5.
Madara Markevica defeated Konstantina Adamopolou in three sets, 6-0, 3-6, 11-9.
Renala Farima def. Leticia Fonseca 6-4, 6-0.
