Redhawks Outlast Falcons in Close Match

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University Falcons tennis team lost a close match to the Miami of Ohio Redhawks 4-3. The match came down to the final singles match to determine the winner.
ÂDOUBLES
- The Falcons won the doubles point, taking two of three matches.
- Tia Clemens and Qianyu Liuy were first off the court, def. Allie Faulkner and Marie Lusia Oliveira 6-0.
- Court two saw the team of Libby Blair and Kiera Taylor def. Maria Komar and Avery Voss 6-4.
- Nina Marcela Chavez Vicente and Evelyn Risner def. Konstantina Adamopoulou and Leticia Fonseca on court three, 6-3.
SINGLES
- The Redhawks won four of the six singles matches to squeeze past the Falcons.
- Tia Clemens def. Maria Lusia Olivera 1-6, 6-3, 6-2.
- Allie Faulkner def. Qianyu Liu 6-2,6-0.
- Avery Voss def. Kiera Taylor to clinch for the Redhawks 6-0, 4-6, 6-4.
- Evelyn Risner def. Konstantina Adamopoulou 6-3, 6-2.
