CLEVELAND, Ohio – Bowling Green swim and dive's academic prowess was recognized last week, as the Mid-American Conference announced the Academic All-MAC team. The conference celebrated 151 student-athletes who excelled in the classroom and the pool.
Eighteen Falcons were recognized for this achievement, maintaining the program's strong scholarly reputation.
Of the conference's six student-athletes who have a perfect 4.0 grade point average, five are on the BGSU roster. Seventeen of Bowling Green's swimmers and divers maintain at least a 3.5 GPA.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests scheduled or completed in the particular sport.
