BGSU Hockey To Host Michigan, Denver As Part Of 2026-27 Schedule

Bowling Green Hockey Announces Full Schedule For 2026-27 Campaign
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University hockey team in partnership with the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2026-27 season. As part of the upcoming schedule, the Falcons will welcome the defending National Champions Denver as well as Final Four participant Michigan to the Slater Family Ice Arena this season.
Season tickets for the 2026-27 hockey season are now on-sale. Additionally, all Friday home games for BGSU will be 7:07 p.m. puck drops with Saturday home games beginning at 6:07 p.m., unless otherwise noted. Current season ticket holders can renew their tickets now. Season ticket holders have until Friday, July 10 to guarantee their same seats as last year, and take advantage of our Early Bird Pricing. After July 10, any unrenewed seats will be released to the public, and pricing will increase. Fans are encouraged to renew their tickets before June 18 to be entered into a raffle. BGSU Hockey Schedule Information
The 2026-27 season for Bowling Green will start off strong with a home-and-home series with Michigan. The Falcons will first head to Ann Arbor on Oct. 2 before returning home to Slater Family Ice Arena on Oct. 3 to host the Wolverines in BGSU's home opener. Following the weekend slate with the Wolverines, Bowling Green will head east for the Ice Breaker Tournament on Oct. 9-10 in Storrs, Conn.
The Falcons will return home, beginning an alternating schedule of home and away weekends. The next batch of home games will be on Oct. 16-17, hosting Niagara. BGSU will then hit the road again, this time facing Lake Superior State on Oct .23-24 to begin CCHA play before an off weekend to conclude the month of October.
The schedule for the Orange and Brown will resume at home on Nov. 6-7, hosting Bemidji State. The back-and-forth will then take Bowling Green on the road to Northern Michigan on Nov. 13-14 before coming back home to host Augustana on Nov. 20-21. The month of November will round out with three games the week of Thanksgiving, starting with a midweek Wednesday contest on Nov. 25 at Notre Dame. November will conclude for the Falcons on Nov. 27-28, hosting Maryville.
As for December, the Falcons will start on the road at the defending CCHA Champions, Minnesota State, on Dec. 4-5. The final home series of 2026 will be against Ferris State on Dec. 11-12 with the month of December concluding on Dec. 28 against the USA National Development Program on the road.
The 2027 portion of the season will begin with a bang, hosting the defending National Champions, Denver, on Jan. 1-2. For the first time during the season, the Falcons will have back-to-back home series, following Denver with Lake Superior State on Jan. 8-9. The first road trip of 2027 will take Bowling Green to Bemidji State on Jan. 15-16 before another home series, hosting Minnesota State on Jan. 22-23 to close out the month of January with a bye week following.
The Falcons will open the month of February with another home series, hosting Northern Michigan on Feb. 5-6. The alternating weekends will pick back up with a trip to Augustana on Feb. 12-13. The final home series of the regular season will be Feb. 19-20 with Bowling Green hosting Michigan State. The regular season as a whole will then wrap up on Feb. 26-27 against Ferris State on the road.
The CCHA Quarterfinals are set for March 5-6 followed by the CCHA Semifinals on March 13 and the CCHA Championship on March 19. The NCAA Regionals will then take place March 25-28.
