Blair, Liu and Fonseca earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -Three members of the Bowling Green State University Tennis team have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team selected by College Sports Communicators.
Libby Blair, Sport Management, 4.000 Cumulative GPA
Libby Blair entered her first year at Bowling Green as a starter for the Falcons. Competing primarily on Court #4 for the singles matches and split time between Court #1 and #2 for doubles, Blair has been an important piece to the Falcons lineups. Blair not only gets it done on the court, but she also,in the classroom, maintains a 4.00 GPA through the spring semester. Blair had a memorable moment this year, when the Falcons upset Buffalo University at home, where she clinched the win by defeating her opponent, marking a memorable second conference win on the season for the Orange and Brown.
Leticia Fonseca, Pre-Exercise Science, 4.000 Cumulative GPA
Leticia Fonseca came to Bowling Green four years ago from Caxias do Sul, Brazil, and made an immediate impact during her time as a Falcon. Spending all four years of her collegiate career at Bowling Green, Fonseca became a leader for the Falcons in the Clubhouse. Fonseca played in the pivotal anchor position for the Falcons on Court #6. Fonseca excelled in the classroom as well as on the court, where she graduated with a 4.00 Cumulative GPA. Fonseca was part of a memorable moment from this past season, where she won the clinching match for BGSU, marking the first conference win in the Mid-American Conference in four years, when the Orange and Brown defeated Eastern Michigan.
Qianyu Liu - Sport Management, 3.923Â Cumulative GPA
Qianyu Liu was a staple in the Falcons' lineup all season. Not missing a match but also not missing a beat in the classroom, where she carries a 3.923 through six semesters as a Falcon. Liu comes from Guangdong, China, and competes on Court #2 for the Falcons. Liu also split time on Courts #1 and #2 during the doubles portion of the contest. Liu had one of the best records in singles matches for the Falcons, where she posted an 11-8 record on the season.Â
