Pair Of BGVB Alums Selected For Volleyball Nations League Rosters

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - Bowling Green State University volleyball alumnae Jessica Andrews and Petra Indrova have been selected to represent their countries in this year's Volleyball Nations League. Andrews will be presenting Team Canada for the second consecutive summer while Petra Indrova will be playing for the Czech Republic. In total, 18 countries will be represented with 30-player rosters, creating a pool of just 540 athletes selected to participate. For Andrews, Team Canada will begin play as part of Pool 1 in Quebec City, Canada on June 3 against Germany. Matches will follow against the United States on June 4, France on June 6 and Japan on June 7 to conclude Pool 1. Team Canada will then play in Pool 6 in Bangkok, Thailand beginning on June 17 against Netherlands. Pool 6 continues on June 19 against Bulgaria, June 20 against Thailand and concludes on June 21 against Poland. Team Canada will finish Pool Play in Pool 8, starting on July 8 in Hong Kong, China against China before facing Belgium on July 9, Italy on July 11 and the Dominican Republic on July 12.

As for Indrova, she will be part of Team Czechia's "wide" roster. Team Czechia will begin play as part of Pool 3 in Nanjing, China on June 3 followed by matches against Poland on June 3, Belgium on June 5 and Thailand on June 6. Play will resume for Team Czechia in Pool 5 in Pasig City, Philippines on June 17 against Italy. They will then face the United States on June 18, Japan on June 19 and the Dominican Republic on June 21. Pool Play will conclude for Team Czechia in Belgrade, Serbia in Pool 7, beginning on July 8 against Germany. The Czechia will then go against Netherlands on July 9, Bulgaria on July 10 and France on July 12.
