Bowling Green Lands 15 On AHCA All-American Scholars List

BGSU Ties For Most Players Named In Nation
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) released the 10th annual "Krampade All-American Scholars" Monday afternoon (June 29) with the 2025-26 recipients. Of those named, Bowling Green had 15 players named to the list, tying for the most in the nation with Colorado State and Long Island University. To qualify a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goalies. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.
The list of recipients for this year included 723 players across the Division I ranks for men's and women's hockey. Of the 729, 404 came from the men's side while 319 women were named. Schools are also required to be members of the AHCA to qualify.

As a conference, the CCHA landed a total of 77 student-athletes who received recognition. Bowling Green led the way with 15, followed by 14 from Bemidji State as well as 13 from both Ferris State and Northern Michigan to round out the double-digit totals.
As a team, the Falcons are coming off a spring semester that resulted in a 3.71 team GPA for the term and a 3.73 cumulative team GPA. During the spring semester, the Falcons had 14 student-athletes post a 4.00 GPA with 16 being named to the Spring 2026 Dean's List.
