BGSU Men's Golf Releases 2026-27 Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -Â The Bowling Green State University (BGSU) Men's Golf team has officially released its schedule for the 2026-27 season. The Falcons will compete in 12 total events over the Fall and Spring semesters.
FALL
To begin the year, the Falcons will co-host the Virtues Intercollegiate in Nashport, Ohio from April 28-29 with the University of Miami Ohio. This will be the fourth consecutive year BGSU will compete in this event. The Falcons will then travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for the Redhawk Intercollegiate hosted by Miami University from Sept. 14-15. The next stop for the Falcons is the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational hosted by Ball State University from Sept. 26-27. The Orange and brown will then revisit the Tom Tontimonia Invitational hosted by Cleveland State University in Westlake, Ohio, from Oct. 5-6. The final tournament in the fall for the Falcons is in West Lafayette, Indiana, as BGSU takes on the Purdue Fall Intercollegiate, hosted by Purdue University, from Oct. 12-13.
SPRING
Welcoming back the Falcons for the Spring Semester is the Savannah Intercollegiate in Savannah, Georgia, from Feb. 20-21 to start the spring semester. After that, the Falcons head even further south to Dade City, Florida, for the Lake Jovita Invitational hosted by Ball State University from Feb. 28 - Mar. 1. The Falcons begin their migration back north, stopping in Southern Pines, North Carolina, for the Babygrande Donald Ross Collegiate Classic from Mar. 8-10. The last time the Falcons competed in this event, Pedro Garcia walked away as the Individual Champion. Continuing north, the Falcons make their next stop in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, where they will serve as the co-host with the University of Miami for the Sweetens Cove Invitational from Mar. 27-29. BGSU finished as the runner-up in the Sweetens Cove Invitational last season. The Falcons make it back to Ohio for the Indian Ridge Shootout in Oxford, Ohio, on April 12, hosted by the University of Miami Ohio. The final destination before the Mid-American Conference Championship (MAC) is in West Lafayette, Indiana, for the Purdue Spring Boilermaker Shootout on April 17. Â Rounding out the year is the MAC Championship in Naples, Florida, from April 30 - May 2.
"We're very excited about the schedule we've put together this season,"said head coach of the BGSU Men's Golf program John Powers. "It is a great blend of traditional stops, mixed in with several new venues for this squad. The fall season features some of the best Midwest courses you can find and spring gives us an opportunity to compete constantly over the course of the semester leading to a MAC Championship. We can't wait to get started.Â
