2010-2011 (senior): Played in 35 games…notched his first points of the season in a two-point game against Alabama-Huntsville, scoring a goal and an assist (Oct. 22)…returned the following night and added another assist against the Chargers…added another goal against UAH when the teams played for a third time at the RPI Holiday Tournament (Nov. 26)…recorded a second multi-point performance of the season against Holy Cross (Dec. 30) in the Toyota UConn Classic where he tallied an assist and scored the game-winning goal in overtime to guide the team to a third place tournament finish…ended the season with a 4-3-7 line…had an even or better on-ice rating in 25 games and finished the year with a (-6) plus/minus rating…named the Bill and Helen Lloyd Most Improved Player by the team.
2009-10 (junior): Played in 29 games…scored his first goal of the season against Michigan State (Dec. 11) in a 3-2 overtime loss…recorded his first multiple-point game of his career with an unassisted goal and an assist against Notre Dame (Feb. 19) in a 4-3 win…scored four points on the season (2g, 2a)…had an even or better on-ice rating in 19 games and finished (-13) for the year.
2008-09 (sophomore): Played in 19 games, 11 of those coming from mid-January on...scored four points (2g, 2a)… had his first collegiate point on an assist in his first game of the season against Providence (Oct. 18)...scored his first career goal against Lake Superior (Jan. 24)...also had a goal against Ferris State (Feb. 14) which turned out to be the game winner...had an assist in his next game at Michigan State (Feb. 20) to record points in back-to-back games for the first time...was even or better in 15 games with two games of (+1)...finished with a (-3) on-ice rating.
2007-08 (freshman): Played in four games, finishing the season with an even plus/minus rating...had three shots on goal...also had three penalties and six PIM on the season...saw his first collegiate action at Michigan (Dec. 8)...also played at Wisconsin (Dec. 29), at Lake Superior State (Jan. 11) and at Western Michigan (Jan. 19).
Prior to BGSU: Spent the past three seasons with the Georgetown Raiders of the OPJHL...was the captain of the 2006-07 squad...was named 2004-05 Raider Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Raider in 2005-06 and earned the captains award in 2006-07...had 59 points (27g, 32a) in 46 games in 06-07...also had six power-play, three short-handed and three game-winning goals his final season with the Raiders...also had 17 points (8g, 9a) in 15 playoff games...had 34 points (17g, 17a) in 05-06, while playing 49 games.
Personal: Full name - Wade Joseph Finegan...son of Daniel and Lesley Finegan...was born Jan. 2, 1986...is a 2004 graduate of St. Michaels College...father played hockey at Michigan State...studied financing at the University.
