2010-2011 (sophomore): Played in 36 games…started the season with a strong opening weekend recording three points (2g, 1a) against Michigan (Oct. 8-9)…scored at least one point in eight of his first 11 games…led the Falcons offense finishing with the most points on the team (21)…two goals came on Falcon power plays…scored six points while on the power play unit (2g, 4a), second on the team…maintained a team-best four-game point streak from Oct. 30 to Nov. 12 scoring five points (1g, 4a) in that time…had three multi-point games coming against Michigan (Oct. 9), Notre Dame (Nov. 6), and Alabama-Huntsville (Nov. 26)…was named to the All-Tournament Team after the Falcons’ second place finish at the RPI Holiday Tournament…scored the game-winning goal against Northern Michigan (March 5) in game two of the CCHA Tournament opening round…recorded one point in each of the three games in that series (1g, 2a)…took 73 shots on the year and possessed a .123 shooting-percentage…scored the first BGSU goal of the game a team-best six times…committed 23 penalties for 46 minutes…had an on-ice rating of even or better in 26 games…finished with a (-2) rating.
2009-10 (freshman): Scored three points in his first weekend of collegiate hockey against Minnesota State (Oct. 9-10) with three assists…posted his first multiple point game in his collegiate debut against the Mavericks (Oct. 9) with a pair of assists in a 3-2 loss…scored his first career goal against Nebraska-Omaha (Oct. 30) and later scored the deciding tally in the team’s first shootout of the season…scored goals in three consecutive games between Oct. 30 and Nov. 7…scored two goals and two assists on the weekend against Alaska (Nov. 13-14), including a three-point day on Nov. 14 against the Nanooks…followed up his three-point performance with a pair of assists against Michigan (Nov. 20) in a 4-2 win at Yost Ice Arena…scored a point in three straight games from Jan. 16 to Jan. 23 and held a 2-2-2 scoring line in that time…finished the regular season with a goal and an assist against Michigan State (Feb. 27)…ended with a (-3) plus/minus rating and 15 penalties for 30 minutes…led the team goals (11) and points (25)…had a share of the lead in assists (14), power play goals (4) and hit three of four shoot out shots...awarded the 2009-10 Sam Cooper Trophy for the team’s leading scorer at the end of the season.
Prior to BGSU: Played the 2008-09 with Waterloo (USHL)…scored 32 goals last season and added 22 assists in 59 games… seven of those goals were while on the power play…four goals were game-winners…had an on-ice rating of (+17) with 59 penalty minutes…he had three points (2g, 1a) in three playoff games for the Black Hawks in 2008-09…drafted in the seventh round (203rd overall) by the Atlanta Thrashers (NHL) in the 2009 Early Entry Draft.
