BROZOVICH AND THE FALCONS
After just two years, is poised to add her name to several BGSU career records lists ... with 82 combined career victories at BG, she is just five wins shy of moving into the top 30 all-time Falcons ... is tied for 27th in school history in singles victories, with 47 ... those 47 singles wins include a stellar record of 33-7 in dual matches, with a 13-5 mark at the third flight and records of 10-1 at the fourth, 2-0 at the fifth and 8-2 at the sixth flights.
2013-14
An honorable-mention selection to the Academic All-MAC Team ... finished second on the team in wins, with a 38-24 mark in her second year with the Falcons ... her 18-15 singles record included a 13-5 mark in dual-match play, with all 18 of those matches coming at the third flight ... went 5-3 in singles play in MAC regular-season matches, and had a 5-2 conference doubles record, competing with senior Nikki Chiricosta in every MAC match (one doubles match was abandoned) ... combined with Chiricosta to go 18-7 on the season ... also teamed with freshman Hannah Drayton for three matches and with fellow soph Drew Fillis for one ... the Brozovich/Chiricosta duo was named MAC Doubles Team of the Week on Feb. 12, after posting wins against Michigan State and UIC the previous weekend ... captured a marathon singles win against Western Michigan (March 22), for the clinching point in the Falcons' 4-3 win ... defeated WMU's Meika Ashby at the third flight in a back-and-forth match ... in the fall, went 2-1 at the second singles flight at the BGSU Invitational, advancing to the championship match before losing in three sets ... was one of three Falcons to compete at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in An Arbor, Mich., in October ... won two of her three singles matches at the ITA ... in doubles, she and Chiricosta won their first four matches of the fall, including victories against teams from Miami and Louisville at the Miami Invitational ... they ended the fall with three-straight wins at the WMU Super Challenge, downing an Indiana duo in their final fall match.
2012-13
Named to the MAC's All-Tournament Team as the Falcons won a school-record 17 matches and recorded the best conference regular-season and tourney finishes in program history ... also was named an ITA Scholar Athlete ... had an overall record of 44-16 in her first season with the Falcons ... ranked fourth on the team in wins, and led the Brown and Orange in winning percentage (.733) ... had a team-best 29-9 singles record, with a BG-leading .763 success rate in singles play ... her singles win total was the second-highest in school history, falling just one shy of the BGSU single-season record ... lost in straight sets only twice all season, as seven of her nine singles losses came in third-set tiebreakers ... had a stellar 7-1 singles record in MAC play, competing at the fourth flight in all eight matches ... was named to the league's all-tournament team after winning both of her singles matches at the conference tourney ... posted a three-set win over Akron's Ksenia Berestetska, giving the Falcons their fourth and match-clinching point in the semifinal round of the MAC Championships (April 27) ... then, the following afternoon, downed Miami's Christine Guerrazzi in straight sets in the league tourney championship match ... played at the sixth singles flight in 10 of the first 11 dual matches of the spring ... the other match during that stretch saw her play in the number-five slot ... was moved to the fifth spot for the Butler match (March 16), then was elevated to the fourth flight for the UIC contest (March 17) and remained there for the rest of the season ... after losing a singles match at nationally-ranked Notre Dame (Jan. 18), won 20 of her final 21 singles contests of the spring ... went 10-1 overall at the fourth flight ... won 18-straight singles matches and 25 overall matches (including seven doubles contests) after that Notre Dame match ... after her loss on Jan. 18, she did not lose again for three months and two days, until a singles setback vs. Western Michigan on April 20) ... during that 18-match singles win streak, was extended to a third set only four times ... won the third set by a 6-0 score twice and by a 6-2 final once ... the other three-setter during that time saw her win a mini-tiebreaker by a 10-4 count ... was 8-1 in doubles when competing with fellow freshman Drew Fillis ... that duo won eight-straight matches after losing their first contest by a narrow 8-6 count ... the Brozovich/Fillis duo lost two or fewer games in five of those eight wins ... had a record of 14-11 in the fall, in her first semester with the Falcons ... went 8-6 in singles and 6-5 in doubles ... competed with three different doubles partners ... was 4-2 when teaming with Mary Hill ... that duo posted an 8-1 victory over a Penn State team at the WMU Super Challenge ... went 3-1 on the weekend at the Rocket Invitational in Toledo, including a 2-0 singles mark ... combined with Hill for a 3-0 mark and a doubles title at the fourth flight at the BGSU Invitational ... was 4-2 in singles action in her first weekend of collegiate competition, as she was one of four Falcons to participate in the Muirfield Collegiate Tennis Invitational ... her four singles wins that weekend came against four different Cincinnati players ... played no fewer than 10 overall matches at Muirfield.
HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterwinner at Clarkston H.S., playing for coach Mary Jo Colonna ... went 26-1 at the No. 1 singles flight as a senior -- earning all-state honors -- with her only loss coming in the state finals ... went 27-0 as a junior ... was the state's top-seeded player at the No. 3 flight that year, and won the state championship with a straight-sets victory (6-2, 6-3) ... helped the Wolves win the team title in Division I that year, the school's first-ever state championship in tennis ... CHS posted a state runner-up finish in her senior season ... as a sophomore, was a state finalist at No. 2 singles ... was ranked second in the state of Michigan, fifth in the Great Lakes region and 56th nationally by TennisRecruiting.net as of summer 2012 ... National Honor Society.
