2017-18

Earned four letters at Waterloo West High School ('14) for coaches Dr. Anthony Pappas and Zach O'Brien ... an all-state first-team selection for the Wahawks as a senior ... led her team to a 22-3 record and an appearance in the state semifinals as a senior .. averaged 15 points and five assists, earning first-team All-Mississippi Valley Conference, all-metro and all-region honors and surpassing the 1,000-point mark for her career ... shot 39.3% from three-point range and 78.9% from the free-throw line in her final year, and was named to the Iowa Girls High School State All-Tournament Team as well as the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-Star 5A Select Team ... averaged 15.3 pppg as a junior, earning all-state third-team honors ... shot 44.7% from three-point land as a junior ... a three-year team captain ... also lettered in track and volleyball ... Haley Michelle Puk was born on April 16, 1996, in Waterloo, Iowa ... an exercise science major at BGSU ... finished her undergraduate career with a 3.632 cumulative GPA ... daughter of Michael and Donna Puk ... has two brothers and a sister ... brother, John, played basketball for the Univ. at Albany, helping the Great Danes to two NCAA Tournament appearances, and is now playing professionally in England ... played AAU ball for Team Iowa.
