![]() 2. Barnes has been named the National Wide Receiver by the College Football Performance Award in back-to-back weeks (Oct. 10 and Oct. 17). In that span he had 32 catches for 438 yards and six touchdowns. Overall he has won the award three times and was named honorable mention twice. 3. Barnes has broke the school record for catches in a game three times this season, including a 22 catch (for 278 yards) performance versus Kent State on Oct. 10. The school record, which was 14 grabs, was broke by Barnes in the 2009 season opener when he posted 15 receptions in a win over Troy. Two weeks later he posted 17 catches at Marshall. 4. Barnes' 138 catches are tied for the third most ever in NCAA history. Manny Hazard (Houston) owns the all-time record with 142. 5. Barnes is first all-time in the BGSU record books with 280 career receptions and second in yards with 3,071. 6. Barnes’ 138 catches are the most in BGSU and MAC history in a single season. His 280 career catches are fifth all-time in the MAC. His 1,551 yards receiving are the most ever by a BGSU receiver in a single season and ranks second all-time in the MAC. 7. For his career the fifth-year senior has recorded 280 catches for for 3,071 yards and 27 touchdowns, while adding 577 yards on the ground and 11 scores. Barnes has also completed 32-of-62 passes for 247 yards and three touchdowns. His 38 total touchdowns are fourth-best in school history. |
